Yesterday I received my May Birchbox, and I was super excited for it to arrive because on the Birchbox app I was able to take a sneak peek at what I would be receiving! The box was a marble theme which I was in love with, the drawer was pink and I loved how the marble and pink worked well together.
I opened the box and my eyes instantly drew to the Spectrum make up brush, this was full size and the retail price is £4.99. I am so excited to try out this make up brush as I have never owned a Spectrum make up brush. At first thought the brush is soft and feels like it will be easy to blend eyeshadow with. Next I received the Dr Brandt pores no more cleanser, the retail price of this is £30. I am excited to try this because I have a lot of pores and I am intrigued to see how well this works. Next I pulled out the Doucce Punk Volumizer Mascara, the retail price for the full size product is £18. At first thought I noticed the brush was quite big which means it may be difficult to reach the inner lashes, but I wouldn’t expect any other size brush on a volumizing mascara. I am excited to try this as I have been looking for a new Mascara.
The last two products I received was the Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in the shade Fifty Shades and the Kueshi Hair Mask. The retail price for the Eyeshadow is £14.49, I did receive the full size product in my Birchbox which was exciting and I am excited to try it. The shade is grey and from reading about the product it is good for sensitive eyes. The hair mask I want to try soon as the description says it is for stressed out hair which mine definitely is at the moment. The retail price for the full size product is £10.50.
